About

Ayse Kelce

I am a reporter based in New York City, and I'm currently covering U.S. securitization at GlobalCapital.

I graduated from Baruch College after double majoring in business journalism and political science and double minoring in law and policy, and English. Before my current role, I was a personal finance reporting intern at The Wall Street Journal as a part of the summer 2022 class.

I served as the managing editor of Baruch College's student-run newspaper, The Ticker. I also covered various beats ranging from real estate to local politics for publications including Mansion Global, Politics NY, Hurriyet, Voice of America, Queens Daily Eagle, BORO Magazine and The Bushwick Daily.

With my reporting for The Ticker, I won the New York Financial Writers' Association 2020 Scholarship, and I was awarded the Excellence in Journalism Award by Baruch College in 2022.
